Dr Ellen Selkon

(MBChB FRNZCGP FNZCAM)

Ellen studied medicine in South Afria and in 1997 immigrated to New Zealand, together with her husband, Richard. They stared Westgate Medical Centre, where she still works as a GP two days a week and is a director on the board.

Ellen gained her fellowship in Cosmetic Medicine in 2009. Ellen joined and then later became a partner in Clinic 42.

Ellen believes in staying up to date in the ever changing field of cosmetic medicine and is an appointed trainer for Galderma Pharmaceuticals who make Restylane®, Emervel ®, and Dysport®, and trains Doctors who are undergoing the Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine as well as other healthcare professionals.  She also attends national and international conferences and is on the executive committee and conference organising committee of the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic medicine.

Her passion and expertise are in using a combination of fillers and botulinum toxin to rejuvenate the face.
